Meal Plans

McKellar Features:

  • 3 meals a day – self-serve, continental breakfast,  three course  full-service lunch and dinner
  • Entrée choices at lunch and dinner
  • Healthy menus utilizing fresh and, when available, local ingredients, designed by our chefs

Self-Serve Breakfast Bar:

  • Variety of cold and hot cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, and in-house made pastries, muffins and breads
  • Toaster & a variety of condiments
  • Coffee, tea, milk  and a selection of juices


Lunch – Selections:

  • Our daily soup – eg.  mushroom beef barley or creamy corn chowder
  • Cold entrée – choice of a sandwich, meal salad, or cold plate – eg. egg salad sandwich, or chicken Caesar salad
  • Hot entrée – various brunch or lunch specialties, including berry pancakes and classic macaroni and cheese
  • Served with side dishes of prepared fruit, garden salad, or hot vegetables
  • Assortment of squares, puddings, cookies or  fruit for dessert


Dinner – Selections

  • Our homemade soup, served with freshly baked bread
  • Garden salad with dressings on the side
  • Feature nightly salad –eg. broccoli and bacon, Waldorf
  • Two main entrées – eg. tender roasts, baked fish, deli plate or pasta dishes
  • Two choices of starch – creamy mashed potatoes with gravy, rice pilaf, etc.
  • Two vegetable side dishes – steamed seasonable veggies, creamed spinach, glazed carrots, etc.
  • Feature dessert – warm bread pudding, lemon meringue pie, ice cream sundaes
